Prescape Privacy Policy (version 1.00)

This Privacy Policy applies to your access and use of all products and services that are made available by Prescape SARL (the "Services") through our websites, including but not limited to www.prescape.com (collectively, the “Site”) and our software applications, including but not limited to Prinq (collectively, the "Software").

This Privacy Policy describes the information that we gather from you, how we use your information, whom we share your information with and the steps we take to protect your information. By using the Services, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy.

Personal information

When you create or update an account on the Site, we collect certain personal information, including your name, email address, country of residence and, if you choose to provide it, your company’s name and address. We retain this information for as long as your account remains active and for up to 90 days after account deletion.

We use this information to communicate with you about company updates and optional surveys. With your consent, we may also send newsletters, product updates and promotional materials. We do not sell your personal information to third parties and we will not use your name or your company’s name in marketing materials without your prior consent.

Billing information

If you purchase Software through the Site, we will collect your billing address and relevant payment details. Payment card information is sent directly to our payment processor. We do not store full payment card details and retain only the last four digits of the card number for reference.

We use this billing information to maintain account records, charge you for the Software, issue invoices, comply with tax obligations, provide billing support and detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.

Logging and analytics

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain usage information, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, date and time of access, referring and exit pages and interactions such as mouse movements and clicks.

We use this information to understand how users navigate the Site, analyze usage trends, compile aggregate demographic data, improve performance, identify and correct errors and detect and prevent misuse. This data is not shared with third parties.

Cookies

When you visit the Site, we may use both session (non-persistent) and persistent cookies to store login session information and certain user preferences.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser, while a persistent cookie remains on your device after the browser is closed and may be used during future visits to the Site. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can modify this setting at any time in your browser preferences. However, if you reject or delete our cookies, certain features of the Service may not function as intended. We use cookies to maintain your login session and enhance your experience on the Site. We do not use third-party cookies.

License verification and updates

The Software periodically and automatically communicates with our server to activate or verify your software license and to check for available updates. In connection with these functions, we may collect your license ID, internet protocol (IP) address, software version and hardware configuration details (including the operating system, processor architecture and a digital fingerprint). The digital fingerprint is encoded such that it does not reveal any identifiable information about the computer configuration it was taken from.

We use this information to verify license validity, prevent unauthorized use of the Software and deliver automatic updates. This data is not shared with third parties.

Correspondence

When you contact us, we collect and retain your correspondence, including your email address and any information provided. We use this information to provide support, maintain historical context and improve the quality and efficiency of our responses to future inquiries. Your correspondence is not shared with third parties.

Security

We implement industry-standard technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss or disclosure. We enforce HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) encryption across the Site to ensure that your login credentials and personal data are securely transmitted. Access to account-related pages containing sensitive data is strictly password-protected.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy periodically. If changes significantly affect your privacy rights, we will notify you on this page. Please check this page regularly to stay informed of any updates.
